OUR MISSION
Idle Free Ontario is a non-profit organization that has started a coalition against idling a motor-vehicle when stopped for an extensive period of time. Our mission is to help the effort of decreasing the amount of smog, carbon dioxide and other toxic gases being released into the atmosphere. Automobiles release these materials when running, but it is unnecessary to leave a vehicle running when parked. This is why this organization has been created, to increase the awareness that a car parked and still running can do just as much damage to the air quality as if the vehicle was running down the road and highway.
