YORK UNIVERSITY CAMPAIGN
The York University campaign took place from October 2009-December 2009. This included of three phases which are:
1.Observing a location which has most amount of traffic during rush hour and making a log of how many people idle. This task was done for 2 weeks for the same time frame.
2.Then engage a conversation with the drivers who are idling and raise awareness that they are idling.
3.Lastly, after phase 1, measurements were done to see if there were any reduction in idling.
